August has been a busy month for us as Paul made the transition back to full-time freelancing and I started my Counseling graduate program at Stephen's College. So in true Paul and Chandra form, we also decided to sign away a couple of our free weekends to assist on a short film written and directed by the talented Melissa Lion Lewis- I as a PA and set documentarian and Paul as lead gaffer/second camera.
The film is Twerp, a stunning coming-of-age story about sisterhood. Melissa's vision for the film came to life in the hands of the Art Direction ans Set Design team- Gabe Myers, Brian Doss, Becca Sullinger and Anna Neale of local Neon Treehouse Collective. As a novice photographer, I couldn't have asked for a more inspiring set and crew.
I'll be posting more of the fully curated and edited photos here soon, but I just couldn't wait to share a sneak peek. You can see more juicy behind-the-scenes tidbits here.
For now, that's all she wrote. Check back soon for more images from the set of Twerp.
